Text & line art design recommendations

There are some key points to remember when using text/line art in your designs:

120.svg 110.svgMake sure text is at least 8pt - very small text can look good on screen but does not print well.

Make sure all fonts are embedded/outlined/ converted to shape.

060.svg 090.svgWhen printing lines in a solid or dark color, make sure they are no thinner than 0.5pt. If you're using a lighter color, we recommend 1pt.

Make artwork a vector PDF, photographs at 300dpi or higher, and file size a maximum of 25Mb.

100.svg 020.svgTry to keep text in bold colors, made up of one or two inks only (C, M, Y, or K). Fonts using 100% K will be crisper and more legible

Remove any cutting, crop, or trim marks. These are applied by InkPavo, as we send your files to print.

To make sure your design prints as expected flatten transparencies and turn off overprint
